Dear Zhiqiang,
Thank you for your kind words. We used a black screen behind the ball and placed a leveled ruler in frame before shooting. We used Adobe After Effects and motion-tracked the bottom of the ball for every frame of footage. We used a frame with the ruler in it as scale to calculate the distance.
