Presenter Guidelines
Poster Presenters
- Prepare your poster in Microsoft®PowerPoint®using our poster template as a guideline; this can be found downloadable below and on theShowcase Your Workpage.
- Submit your poster in PPT or PPTX format via My Conference by the final deadline: September 20, 2024.
- COMSOL will be professionally printing all posters prior to the start of the conference.
- Poster requirements:
- Poster size (i.e., slide size): 36" (width) x 48" (height), Portrait orientation, with a 1" margin on all sides.
- A white or light background is recommended.
- Please use a standard font to ensure quality printing (e.g., Calibri) and use the following font sizes as a guideline to prepare your poster for best viewing:
- Title: 72 pt.
- Author name and affiliation: 40 pt.
- Figure captions: 36 pt.
- References: 28 pt.
- Rest of the text (introduction, results, etc.): 48 pt.
Selected Slideshow Presenters
All presentations are limited to 10 minutes and will be followed by a 5-minute Q&A.
- Submit your presentation in PPT or PPTX format via My Conference by the final deadline: September 20, 2024.
- Plan to meet with the session chair in the room where you will be presenting at least 10 minutes prior to the start of your session.
- Presentation requirements:
- Slide size: SelectWidescreen, 13.33" (width) x 7.5" (height).
- A white or light background is recommended.
- Please use a standard font to ensure quality printing (e.g., Calibri), and use these font sizes as a guideline to prepare your slideshow for best viewing:
- Title: 32 pt.
- Author name and affiliation: 18 pt.
- Figure captions: 11 pt.
- References: 8 pt.
- Body text: 14–18 pts.
Posters At the Conference
- All posters will be on display in the exhibition hall throughout the conference.
- The poster session will be held the evening of Wednesday, October 23.
- Please make yourself available near your poster during this time.
- Visit the registration table to find your poster number if you are unable to locate it.
- Attendees will have the opportunity to cast their votes for the Best Poster by Popular Choice award during this session.
- The posters will be taken down on Thursday, October 24, after the closing remarks.
Paper Submissions
All presenters are encouraged to submit a paper for publishing in our online conference proceedings.
- Papers received by the final submission deadline, September 20, 2024, may be considered for the Best Paper awards.
