Recreating a fuel cell example using thermodynamics

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

I am trying to recreate theCurrent Density Distribution in a Solid Oxide Fuel Cellexample using theThermodynamics,Chemistry,Secondary Current Distribution,Brinkman equationsandTransport of Concentrated Species in Porous Mediainterfaces as explained in theSolid Oxide Electrolyzer Using Thermodynamicsexample. So far I have encountered two issues: the new model takes exponentially longer to solve, and the results are not quite the same as the original.

I have tried using theTransport of Concentrated SpeciesandFree and Porous Media Flowinterfaces instead, and while runtimes are shorter (but considerably longer than the Fuel Cell example), the solutions still do not match the original model.

I suppose there must be a mistake in my model, perhaps a coupling I failed to implement properly. Could anyone point me in the right direction? Any help will be appreciated.
