Pipe Wall Heat Transfer Multiphysics not working for 2D model?

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I am trying to run a 2D model where a pipe surrounds a wall, using heat transfer in solids for the 2D wall and non-isothermal pipe flow for the pipe. I added the pipe wall heat transfer as the only option to couple between the two physics. However, it appears that the multiphysics interface is giving me a "not applicable" message for the pipe edges, even though I included wall heat transfer in the non-isothermal pipe flow physics.

Could you let me know if this is only applicable for 3D models, since the only available cases in the COMSOL library are 3D models? If not, please provide guidance on how to solve this issue.

Thanks in advance,

Omar
