CENUMERICS was founded in 2006 as an engineering consultancy offering high-end services in mathematical modeling and numerical simulation. The founder of this owner-operated consultancy, Dr. Christian Feist, has always had an affinity for simulation and graduated from the University of Innsbruck, Austria, as a structural engineer. There, he also received his PhD for his thesis on the constitutive modeling of brittle materials. Dr. Christian Feist is a state-authorized and certified engineering consultant and court-accredited expert for strength analysis and finite elements.
At CENUMERICS, we specialize in performing high-level simulations and analyses of components and processes, as well as developing engineering software tools for customers in the steelmaking, metalworking, and transportation system industries. The COMSOL Multiphysics®software has become one of our most important tools over the years. The COMSOL®product suite not only serves as a tool for our complex modeling tasks but also as an important development platform. The COMSOL development tools enable us to deploy our models as end-user-ready apps for our customers.
