How to Synchronize Geometry Selections from SOLIDWORKS®to COMSOL Multiphysics®
Using LiveLink™forSOLIDWORKS®, you can synchronize the geometry selections for material assignments made in SOLIDWORKS®to COMSOL Multiphysics®. In this tutorial video, we will show you how to transfer over these selections for use within COMSOL Multiphysics®and demonstrate how these selections are maintained regardless of the design being changed within SOLIDWORKS®. Furthermore, we show you how you can combine selections of different parts of your design in SOLIDWORKS®withexplicit selectionsin COMSOL Multiphysics®to create custom selections of objects, faces, edges, or vertices. To demonstrate all of this, we use anintegrated circuit (IC) assembly model, along with aship hull model.
